Confidence When You Feel Alone Part 2
Feb 19, 2025
Finding Strength in Biblical Wisdom
If you’re feeling discouraged on this journey, let’s turn to biblical wisdom for guidance. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” This verse is a powerful reminder that even when it feels like no one is supporting you, God is always walking beside you.
Think about Noah—he built the ark while everyone laughed at him. Joseph had a vision of his future success, but before he reached it, he was betrayed, sold into slavery, and thrown into prison. Both of them faced isolation, doubt, and trials, but in the end, their faith carried them through. Your journey is no different. This season of feeling alone is not a punishment—it’s preparation.
How to Keep Your Confidence When You’re Walking Alone

So, how do you keep going when you feel like you’re doing this alone? Here are a few strategies:
- Stop Expecting Validation from Others
- Your dream doesn’t need approval. Some of the people who don’t support you now will be the same ones asking how you did it later.
- Strengthen Your Faith and Mindset
- Spend time in prayer, write down your wins (even the small ones), and speak life over your journey. Start saying, “I am capable. I am worthy. My success is already in motion.”
- Find Like-Minded People (Even If They Aren’t Close to You Yet)
- If your immediate circle doesn’t understand your journey, that’s okay. Look for online communities, mastermind groups, or mentors who do.
- Take Action, Even When No One is Watching
- Confidence doesn’t come from waiting for applause—it comes from taking action. Post the content. Launch the business. Work on your dream like it’s already successful, because it will be.
Your Loneliness is Temporary
One day, you will look back and be grateful that you didn’t quit when no one was watching. The support you feel like you’re missing now? It’s coming. But in the meantime, keep going. The real test isn’t about who supports you—it’s about whether you believe in yourself when no one else does.
So tell me—what’s one thing you’re working on right now, even if it feels lonely?
