Pushing Through When You Feel Stuck

Personal Growth Series
There are so many times when you feel stuck. I’ve felt that way a lot myself—feeling like you know what needs to be done but still hitting a wall of hesitation. And that wall? Most of the time, it’s just fear. Fear of judgment, fear of not getting it right, fear of looking like you don’t have it all together. I get it because I’ve been there, too.
We all have those moments when we’re ready to level up, but suddenly, self-doubt creeps in. You start questioning yourself—“Can I really do this?” “Am I enough for this?” But, let me tell you, you’re not alone. I’m right there with you, and I totally understand how you feel.
Someone once gave me this piece of advice that changed everything: You gotta start messy. You’ve gotta start exactly where you are, even if it’s imperfect, even if it feels like everything isn’t in place yet. You just have to start. Because, yes, it’s scary to feel judged or to worry that others might think you’re a fraud. But deep down, you know your heart. You know you’re here to inspire, encourage, motivate, and lift others. But first, you’ve got to show yourself that same love and push yourself not to quit.
So, when fear starts creeping in—and it will, hard and fast—that’s when it’s time to push through. Right now, you’re not really stuck; you’re just in a comfortable spot that feels safe. But comfort doesn’t lead to growth. And right on the other side of that fear? That’s where the new level is waiting, filled with growth, new opportunities, new clients, and everything you’ve been working towards.
1. Start Messy and Embrace Imperfection
Don’t wait for the “perfect moment” or until everything is lined up. Start where you are with what you have. Showing up imperfectly is still showing up, and that’s powerful.
2. Shift Your Mindset from “Stuck” to “Ready”
Instead of telling yourself you’re stuck, think of it as being ready to move forward. Sometimes, “stuck” is really just a sign that it’s time for growth. Embrace it as a push towards the next level.
You may not think so, but you’re ready to lift one foot and step into the unknown. This new level is waiting for you. There are so many possibilities and incredible growth ahead. You’ve got this!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this “Story Time”, and as always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic.
